This light comedy is sure to delight audiences of all kinds with its endearing characters, laugh-out-loud humor, and poignant message. The play focuses on Ethel Savage, a widow who inherits ten million dollars from her late husband and uses this inheritance to fulfill the ridiculous dreams of others. However, her three greedy stepchildren commit her to a mental institution, hoping to get their hands on the money. At the sanitarium, Mrs. Savage learns to love the other inmates, each one with quirks that she comes to accept. As these unexpected relationships are formed, Mrs. Savage thwarts her stepchildren's attempts to gain possession of the money, sending them on humiliating wild goose chases. By the end, once the stepchildren's ruthless and self-centered nature is revealed, the audience wonders who the crazy ones really are!

The Curious Savage will be performed in Lasker Auditorium on November 13th, 14th & 15th.
