November 4th, 5th, and 6th, 2010, at 7:30PM in the Lasker Auditorium Thornton Wilder's The Skin of Our Teeth, to be performed in
Lasker Auditorium on November 4th, 5th, and 6th, 2010, follows the Antrobus
family--an average American family in all aspects, except that Mr. and Mrs.
Antrobus are the biblical Adam and Eve, neither they nor their children age,
and the triumph of good or evil hinges on the outcome of their familial
disagreements--as they face everything from everyday hardships to impending
apocalypse. Though very little in the Antrobuses' lives matches our notions
of what should and should not be, they share your hopes and fears, talents
and flaws, and virtues and vices, and they will take you for a wild ride in
an unfamiliar world populated by an all too familiar human race. Filled with
absurdity, hilarity, and pointed, insightful social commentary about progress,
social Darwinism, and what we value, this show will undoubtedly be one to remember.
